Natives from the continent of Faerün in the Forgotten Realms, Dekanter goblins are taller, rougher and bolder than their cousins. They may have been created from common goblins by an alhoon (illithid lich), known as the Lord of the Beasts, in the Dekanter mines.

Originaires du continent de Faerün dans les Royaumes Oubliés, les gobelins de Dekanter sont plus grands, plus agressifs et plus intrépides que leurs cousins. Ils auraient été créés à partir de gobelins ordinaires par un alhoon (liche ilithid) connu sous le nom de Seigneur des Bêtes, dans les mines de Dekanter.
