Another creature designed for my worldbuilding project, Primarog.
This universe was initially imagined as an original plane for Magic the Gathering, with some major mechanics like Fossilize (creatures that transform into basic lands when they don't have "Time" markers on them anymore) for example. The stonetooth mastiadon that I previously published would definitely have this mechanic.
Primarog is mostly composed of wild and hostile landscapes: roaring volcanoes suddently erupting, oceans with permanent seastorms, forests made of colossal trees, etc. The abyssal deisolochus is one of those huge beasts that inhabit the depths of Primarog seas, continuously hunting each other and struggling to survive the elements. There's also humanoid creatures in this world of course, but I'll talk about them another time maybe.
Creature design for "Primarog", a worlbuilding project I'm working on.
Primarog is a very distant plane, both in time and space, where life development constantly struggles with primordial forces and elements. In this universe, natural death doesn't exist: most living beings hunt each other or succumb to the harsh conditions of their rough environment. The few individuals that manage to survive might theorically live forever, but instead they slowly turn to stone or other material, slowly merging into the plane itself.
